The Classification Society is excited to announce that Professor Paul D. McNicholas will continue as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Classification for a 5-year term covering July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2030. Under his guidance, the Journal of Classification has improved in many facets. For example, the 2024 impact factor places the Journal of Classification in the top quartile of Statistics and Probability journals. Further, Professor McNicholas has, and continues to, make many important contributions to The Classification Society, including, but not limited to, organizing an annual session on key themes from the preceding volume of the Journal of Classification.
